I soon realized that my skepticism was all misplaced. As I stopped critiquing and actually started playing it.. holy cow. This thing resonates and responds better than a Martin OM-42 that I paid over 4 grand for! I am simply stunned that a guitar I bought so I could have a practice tool on vacations would turn out to be one of, if not the best playing instrument I have. I'd say that this guitar is the real deal but that would be a major understatement. For the price this guitar is listed at (four hundred ninety nine dollars) I am blown away. This guitar plays better than anything in its price range. The only reason I even contemplated sending it back was to buy the more expensive models. If this thing plays like a two thousand dollar guitar... I can't imagine what the others sound like.

If you're considering this guitar but have reservations, then buy it now because this thing will impress you!

I received my new Voyage Air guitar (VAOM-04) as promised this past Tuesday and I have to say I am extremely pleased. I decided 6 months ago to learn how to play the guitar as playing a trumpet around a campfire is not necessarily conducive for an evening social gathering.
My problem was that I travel a lot and practicing was very difficult. I saw the VA on TV and was intrigued and with the several good reviews I decided to purchase one sight unseen (even against my wife's advice to be cautious).
After receiving it and playing it side by side with my Martin I could tell a slight difference, but the tone and playability of the VAOM was very good-at least for me who is still a novice. I am sure other more seasoned players with more refined ears could pick out more subtle differences but I have to say that the VAOM was very pleasant and an instrument that will make practicing more very enjoyable, and even better, when I am traveling. By the way, my wife likes it as well so you have helped me avoid the dog house.

Thanks guys,
Doug Kladder
