Premier Series Acoustics arrow Premier Series: VAOM-2C Rosewood OM-Style

Every brand has a top of the line: that’s the VAOM-2C. This instrument is a fingerstyle dream, with the slightly wider 1-3/4” fretboard that makes it easy to play fast, intricate passages. The cutaway design of the body affords easy reach to the highest frets. The VAOM-2C is a full-size “OM” style guitar crafted of the finest tonewoods. Solid East-Indian Rosewood for the back and sides, Solid Sitka Spruce for the top, and Solid African Mahogany for the neck (with solid Rosewood fretboard). The Rosewood back and sides make for a deep and articulated resonance to the tone, and the Solid Sitka Spruce top brings on soaring sustain and harmonics. Advanced players are constantly surprised by the depth of the tone from this OM-size guitar! The VAOM-2C has become a favorite on the stage and in the studio – it easily compares with the finest offerings of the other Major Brand manufacturers. The no-compromise construction includes deluxe appointments like an Abalone rosette, inlaid green Abalone position markers on the fretboard, gold-plated precision tuners with ebonized pegs, and a solid bone compensated bridge/saddle. Beautiful and easy to play, yet with a distinct sonic signature that only comes from a Solid Rosewood body.

The price includes the acclaimed Deluxe 'Voyager' carry case: injection molded, rugged and durable, with backpack straps and zippered pockets for storage.

“I play mostly fingerstyle rag/blues and Travis style and this guitar has the balance and projection of high end Martin and Taylor guitars that I have played and owned... I have no problem getting a very balanced sound with a thumbpick and bare fingers that I struggled to get with my Martin. The treble is clean and slightly jangly due to the zero fret, especially when you play open chords. The neck feels more like a Martin C profile than the slimmer profile on my Taylor 814. I am very happy with the tone and volume with or without fingerpicks and it plays very nice, especially for a travel guitar. The rosewood is warm sounding and has lots of overtones but not exactly like my Martin and the treble isn't quite as "sparkly" as my Taylor. But very, very close to both.”

“The Voyage-Air is a no-nonsense, professional sounding instrument. It is now my main workhorse guitar AND my travel guitar. Everyone that has seen it and played it can't believe their eyes and ears!”
