I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and genius behind this amazingly compact, but great sounding guitar!! I work in the movie industry and travel quite a bit, and being able to bring my guitar as a carry-on wherever I go is just what I've been looking for! The overall sound is amazingly rich for its size, and the folding mechanics work like a dream! If you’re wondering if it's worth getting, the answer is a big YES!!

Just took my MD-04 to a friend’s house to play with some other guys and there first reaction was “there’s no way you have a guitar in that case”. I know they were thinking “let alone a good one” under their breath. Well I have to say that all were amazed at the design but were even more amazed at the sound and how it was not lacking at all for being considered a travel guitar. The guitar performed beautifully with its rich tone that cut through the mix with the other guitars and felt really comfortable play for a few hours non-stop. This is the kind of guitar that takes just minutes to get used to and you’re off playing music not thinking about getting around the guitar too much. I tried the VAMD-04 sitting and standing with a strap and it was as comfortable as any other guitar.

Got this guitar a few months ago for a mission’s trip to Mexico. I didn't want to take my regular guitar and risk it being demolished! I was amazed! The guitar sounds just as good as my regular guitar. I like the compact size and the backpack is really great for putting extra stuff in. I'd definitely recommend this guitar to anyone who travels and doesn't want to have to give up good quality sound.
